Control is the ability to keep ourselves in check!
During this unit, we will be discussing different areas that we can have self-control! Our Mind, Our Mouth, and Our Bodies.
In last weeks class, we talk about controlling our Mouth.
During classes, we discussed when, how and why we should control our mouths.
- When others are talking, we should be quiet and wait for our turn. For example, when parents and teachers are explaining something that is a time to be quiet and listen. When we are outside playing that is a perfect time to be loud and crazy! 🙂
- We should make sure that we think and listen before we speak. Doing this makes sure we understand what is going on before we say something that we don't mean.
- Words have power! They have an amazing way of lifting others up.. They also can have the power to break people down. So let's be builders!
We hope to partner with all of the parents to develop MKG Kids that are confident, respectful and thoughtful when they speak to others.
