Happy Monday!

Welcome a New MKG Madison Family Member, Leo Harry Bartels

Last week, Jon and Cat Bartels welcomed a new member to their family. On Wednesday, March 4th at 10:55 pm, Leo Harry Bartels was born. He was 5 lbs 13 oz. and just over 18 in.

Due to an early arrival (6 weeks early) Leo will be spending  little more time at the hospital before they get to go home.  Don't worry though, both Momma and baby are doing well. Cat reports, "He's a strong little dude." and he has made lots of progress over the last couple of days.

We are so excited to meet Leo and welcome him to the MKG Madison Family!

MKG Madison Youth Program

What's going on this week"

You Can Do It!

This unit we are talking about Confidence. This week, we are talking about help others have confidence.

Although, we try to stay positive and believe in ourselves everyday, there are days where that is just easier said than done. We need help. The where "Encouragement" comes in.

Encouragement is when someone helps you believe in yourself when you are having a hard time doing it. It when a friend says things like,

  • Keep it up!
  • Don't quit!
  • Don't worry. You'll do better next time.

That type of encouragement really helps. It feels like you have someone "In your Corner" when you feel like things are to hard.

So if you see someone that you care about in your life, be that person that help build confidence. Be an "ENCOURAGER"!
